We are Saga Scouts.

We are families, kindreds, and hearths dedicated to a single sacred task: to raise the next generation rooted in the faith, virtues, and skills of our ancestors.

Our Vision

A generation that knows who they are. Young men and women who can build a fire, speak the truth, care for a home, create beauty, and stand unafraid. Scouts who understand that faith without works is empty, and skill without virtue is dangerous.

We do not seek to escape the modern world. We seek to meet it fully prepared—rooted in heritage, tested by challenge, and guided by the old wisdom.

Our Purpose

The old ways were not meant to be remembered only in books. They were meant to be lived—taught hand to hand, fire to fire, generation to generation. Saga Scouts exists to ensure our children do not merely inherit their heritage, but embody it. Through the four sacred paths—the Warrior’s strength, the Hearth’s wisdom, the Skald’s craft, and the Sage’s knowledge—we forge young people of character, competence, and conviction.

We Honor the Holy Ones

Through the Wheel of the Year and the Twenty-Four Runes, our scouts learn the stories of the gods, the wisdom of the ancestors, and their own place in the saga of our folk.

We Prepare Leaders

From the first Tales told to a three-year-old to the Einherjar capstone completed at eighteen, every badge earned is a step toward becoming a capable, ethical adult ready to teach the next generation.

This includes teaching them the Nine Nobel Virtues

We Master the Four Paths:

The Warrior’s Path

Outdoor skills, survival craft, and the protector’s duty

The Hearth Path

Homekeeping, self-reliance, and the caretaker’s wisdom

The Skald’s Path

Craftsmanship, performance, lore, and the arts

The Sage’s Path

Sciences, inquiry, and the analytical mind
