What is a Kindred or Hearth?

Kindred: A multifamily scouting troop that brings together several families in a community-based group. Kindreds provide a larger community experience with multiple adult leaders and scouts working together.

Hearth: A single family scouting unit that allows individual families to participate in the Saga Scouts program. Hearths are perfect for families who want to start their scouting journey independently.
